Lady GaGa & Robin Hood Foundation To Give $1 Million To NYC’s Youth

Lady GaGa is slipping into green tights and teaming up with the Robin Hood Foundation to give $1 million to charities that specialize in helping disconnected youth in NY.
Disconnected youth are anyone between the ages 16-24 who is not in school or the workforce. In other words, they’re kids who need help.
Said GaGa:
"I'm thrilled to be working with the Robin Hood Foundation to distribute funds to help the youth of New York City. NYC is my hometown and I think investing in these kids' future will go a long way.”
The charities in the running for the money are SCO Family of Services, Lawyers for Children, The Door, Hetrick-Martin Institute, and Safe Horizon.
Lady GaGa will do a charity concert on May 9 to commemorate the event.
