This is incredibly sad!
Last night, former President George H.W. Bush was taken by ambulance to Houston Methodist Hospital after experiencing a shortness of breath.
According to spokesman Jim McGrath, George W. Bush's father:

Is the Catholic church finally starting to come to its senses?
Pope Benedict XVI has made headlines over the years for his ridiculous remarks about the church's immoral position on condoms. In 2009 he told reporters that condoms cant curb the AIDS problem, but actually "increases the problem".
How so? The church believes the HIV virus can easily pass through latex, giving condom users a false sense of security.
In his recent book Light of the World, the Pope took a massive leap forward (sort of) by suggesting people who use condoms, such as male prostitutes, are making a moral decision because they are looking out for the welfare of another person.
We're pretty sure ANYBODY who uses a condom during sex is looking out for the welfare of another person and themselves, but apparently the Pope only thinks male prostitutes have STDs.
However, the Catholic church may finally be ready to open up their minds because the Vatican has invited AIDS experts from around the world to a two-day symposium on preventing HIV and caring for people with the virus this weekend.
Some speakers at the conference organized by the Pontifical Council for Health Care Workers believe (like rational people) condom's are an "integral and essential" part of prevention programs.
The church has maintained the position that abstinence and fidelity in marriage are the best ways to curb HIV, but let's face it. Sex is natural and sex is fun, so why not preach what can actually save lives if their followers give into temptation?
