Last night, former President George H.W. Bush was taken by ambulance to Houston Methodist Hospital after experiencing a shortness of breath.

When performing cardio, keep your heart rate between 70-85% of your Max Heart Rate (MHR). When strength training, keep your rate between 55-70% of your MHR. An easy equation to figure out your MHR is:
• For women: 226 – your age = adjusted max heart rate
• For men: 220 – your age = adjusted max heart rate
