This warms our hearts!
Retired Dallas Cowboy Michael Irvin recently weighed in on the God vs. gay debate and spoke out in favor of LGBT rights, saying:
"First of all, I can't understand any brother…that is NOT for equality. Where's he been? Second of all, God has taken away a great deal of choices. He doesn't give you the choice of mom, dad, brother, sister, cousin, uncle, nephew. He gives you the choice of companion. Now if God decided to give you that choice, I don't think government should mess with it! Whoever you want to be with, that choice is up to you. Period!"
Right on, Michael! The 5-time Pro-Bowler continued to question WHY homosexuality is even up for debate, saying:
"I don't know how we bicker about something like this…telling someone who they should and shouldn't make love to, who they should and shouldn't be with, blows my mind — even the conversation!"
Every voice counts! If you hold the same belief as Michael Irvin, SHARE IT!
Those still trying to oppress those attracted to the same sex need to be EDUCATED and it's up to every one of us to make sure that happens!
Despite his retirement from the NFL, we think Michael Irvin is still living up to his nickname, "The Playmaker", because he just scored a huge touchdown for equality!
