As part of her strategy to reach her fitness goals, Kim revealed the key to shaping her fabulous figure is "changing the movements all the time" while doing free-arm exercises.
She is avoiding repetitive movements in a straight line like shoulder presses in favor of continuously varying the angle and direction of her movements to simultaneously work more muscles.
For example, while performing a basic bicep curl, she may be twisting the weight in her hand while curling toward her shoulder to work muscles in her forearm, shoulder, and tricep ON TOP of her bicep.
