At 50-years-old, Kathy Griffin has remarkably reached her prime. Not only is her career booming and her star rising, but her bikini body is AMAZING!
So how does the funny lady look so seriously good?
Despite admitting to having liposuction done in the past, she says she relies on "good old-fashioned dieting and working out."
"The truth is I never had a naturally thin body," she shared in a recent interview, which has only made her try harder to keep it thin, continuing:
"Most of us can't just eat anything, so portion control through delivered meals is the best. You can eat a lot of things, but you never overeat."
So true! Her Life On The D-List began "on a steady diet of Hamburger Helper", but now she takes her diet as serious as her stage time and eats six small meals a day. She cleaned out all of the unhealthy snacks in her cabinets then replaced them with fruits and veggies.
As much as she hates it, she finally recognized that a healthy diet isn't always enough and we need to be active, saying:
"By the way, working out is something you can't avoid even if you really, really hate it with every ounce of your being."
Even though she has a personal trainer to help shape her slammin' body, she'd rather go for a nice hike any day, continuing:
"It's the weirdest thing. I have a trainer, but what I really like to do is go on long walks and hikes by myself. When I'm in the city, I'll grab a friend and say, 'We must go for a walk.' Then we'll end up walking for two hours straight all over Manhattan, which is a great workout without really thinking you're working out because you can stop and say, 'Oh that's Paris Hilton over there."
Funny, smart, and in great shape? We think Kathy deserves more credit than she's willing to give herself. Forget the D-list because she's definitely on the way to the top!
