For anyone who thought being bisexual was just being greedy, now there is science to prove it's a reality!
In 2005, Northwestern University had announced, “With respect to sexual arousal and attraction, it remains to be shown that male bisexuality exists.”
However, after a study of 100 heterosexual, homosexual, and bisexual men, the university has changed their tune!
A team of researchers recruited bi men from specific bisexual websites and their participation required both sex with men and women, as well as being in a relationship for at least 3 months with someone of each gender.
Much like the 2005 study, men watched videos of male and female same-sex intimacy while genital sensors monitored their erectile response.
The previous study determined that bisexual's response resembled homosexuals, but the new one found the bisexual participants responded to both men and women, while the gay and straight men did not.
Allen Rosenthal, the lead author of the new Northwestern study, said of his findings:
“Someone who is bisexual might say, ‘Well, duh!’ But this will be validating to a lot of bisexual men who had heard about the earlier work and felt that scientists weren’t getting them.”
Well, we're glad science has finally caught up to the rest of us and FINALLY understands what that "B" stands for in LGBT!
Let their flag fly!
