Giuliana Rancic, E! host, is starting a restaurant and said that out of all the celebrities, one she'd like to have eat their the most is LeAnn Rimes, because she's super thin:
"She lost a lot of weight from all the stress in her life," Giuliana said about Rimes. "She seems a little thin right now and I think she looks great when she's a bit curvier."
This, of course, didn't sit well with Rimes. So what's a girl to do?
Lock and load, Twitter:
"@GiulianaRancic hey, we should go to dinner sometime. You get criticized all the time for how small you are. You can see just HOW much I eat and maybe put a stop to this crazy "shrinking" once and for all," she wrote, adding, "Then we should workout together! Good luck with your restaurant!!!!"
Rimes later wrote, in response to another tweet on the subject, "I just don't appreciate her comments, so I really would love for her to hang with me, see who I am. I am a person you know."
Okay. So. We get that it really isn't Giuliana's place to be saying things like this in this venue. It's your body, do what you want with it.
But to get offended (how is she implying that you're not a person?) when it seems like a lot of people, even your fans, are worried about you and your weight? Doesn't that make you wonder why? Nobody wants to see you unhealthy, and if you're worried about somebody's health, what do you do?
You tell them.
They're not doing it in the right way, of course, but we do think Giuliana put it pretty delicately, and it should be flattering to hear that people loved you with a little more curves!
We support you as long as you're healthy. You just need to not be so quickly offended. Just sayin'.
