He sure has a weird way of showing it!
Former WWE and TNA wrestler Matt Hardy gave fans a scare on Tuesday night when he posted a morbid YouTube video with scrolling text, reading:
"Good bye, World…My time here is almost complete…I have only a few hours & minutes…I loved you all..Regardless of how you felt about me…I'll miss you all…"
The video ended with "September 23, 1974 - August 31, 2011", leading many to believe he had committed suicide. In fact, 911 dispatchers near his North Carolina home received 30 calls over the stunt!
THANKFULLY, Matt was fine when two officers went over to investigate and he took to his Twitter to clear up the confusing messages. Apparently, the note in the video was meant to mark the beginning of his "Genesis".
He told other sources that he is going back to the "Old Matt Hardy" and explained:
"I went from being the guy who wanted to change the world, entertain and inspire people to being someone who was more concerned about shock value."
We applaud his efforts to better himself, but that message was NOT a cool way to let his fans in on his metamorphosis! We hope Matt can pull himself up after a string of unfortunate mishaps and that he doesn't need to get attention like this ever again!
