This is incredibly sad!
Last night, former President George H.W. Bush was taken by ambulance to Houston Methodist Hospital after experiencing a shortness of breath.
According to spokesman Jim McGrath, George W. Bush's father:

We are so inspired by this that we don't even know where to begin!!
How about the bottom: The bottom of the trail at Pikes Peak is 13 miles from the 14,110-foot summit.
That route is about to get dominated by a wheelchair, as that mountain has NOTHING on Glen House!!
House, 42, was paralyzed from the waist down in a skiing accident while in college. He has enough use of his arms and hands to push the wheels of his chair, even up a steep incline like the Pikes Peak Highway. In addition to the physical demands of ascending about 7,000 feet into thin air, House will have to contend with traffic on the twisting roadway, which lacks guardrails.
Here's what Glen has to say about it:
"I can't tie my shoes or button my shirt. It's a lot of work, but it's unbelievably exciting. It gets real steep. If somebody hadn't been there, I would have gone right off the edge."
How absolutely incredible!
Good luck, Glen! We're rooting for you!
