Ugh! Cheaters stink!
FitPerez reader Annie was cheated on by her husband. Despite trying to move on, things still aren't what they used to be, so she wrote relationship expert Dr. Karen Stewart for advice, asking:
My husband cheated on me. We tried counseling to repair the marriage it didnt help. We moved away from our location so he can forget the woman, but he cant forget. Is it time to divorce?
According to Dr. Karen:
I am sorry to hear that you are struggling in your marriage. From your question I can tell that you are trying very hard to help your husband get over his infidelity, but what about YOU? Have YOU forgotten that he was unfaithful? I would suggest that you look at how you feel about your husband and your marriage and see if you are willing to move on or continue trying. it sounds like you are working very hard to help HIM get over his lover! If you are saying that your unfaithful husband is struggling with the loss of his lover then you really should consider where this relationship is going.
