Tis the season to be Justin Bieber.
The teenage singing sensation is the very FIRST artist that Universal Music has allowed to give a portion of their album sales to charity.
JBiebs has announced he is donating partial sales from his Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe, to charities such as Pencils of Promise and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In an interview on Tuesday from Peru, he revealed he's "proud" to be the first artist to do so, saying:
"Universal never actually allowed money from the album to go to charity, so it's kind of a unique thing and I'm very happy and proud of what we've done."
He's not sure how much will be donated, but he knows his team will get it done on his behalf, continuing:
"I tell them basically what I want and they kind of go and help me get it done."
Like a boss, Bieber! A very kind, generous, and charitable boss!
Considering Christmas is the time for giving, we're shocked to hear he is the first artist to donate a portion of his holiday album sales to charity, but it speaks volumes for his character!
Under the Mistletoe hits stores November 1st, so don't hesitate to grab a copy!
