This is incredibly sad!

Such a good idea!
A pair of shoes equipped with a GPS tracking system have been specially designed for Alzheimer's patients and will be available next month!
Just in time for Christmas, the shoes used to keep track of loved ones cost about $300, plus a subscription fee for the monitoring service.
The revolutionary product was originally being designed for children, but developers realized there was also a large (and sadly, growing) market for Alzheimer's Disease patients which number about 5.4 million in the U.S. alone.
Sources report that 60% of sufferers wander and often become lost. Up to half who are not found within 24 hours may die from dehydration, exposure or injury.
With those kind of statistics, we'd definitely invest in a pair of these bad boys for a loved one, would U?
