A baptist nursing school in California has expelled a participant in MTV's True Life after they found out she's transgendered.
They're sighting that Domaine Javier's being booted because she falsely filled out on her application that she was female, so she's gone for “committing or attempting to engage in fraud, or concealing identity.”
Unfortunately, private schools CAN discriminate based on gender identity, whereas other school in California cannot.
Why would they want to do this to someone who is a good person who just wants to help the lives of others? Where's the religious love in that? There is no diminished capacity for her to learn and become an amazing nurse just because she's transgendered.
We can't stand it when discrimination happens. Hopefully she will find another, more accepting school.
