The exact timing is still unknown, but according to some of those who have heard the conversation of higher up officials, legendary Penn State coach Joe Paterno might be making his tenure exit even amidst the Sandusky molestation scandal.
He's 84 and has 46 seasons under his belt. We'd say it's about time regardless of the scandal — let someone knew enjoy the spot.
Though, the fact of the matter is that Paterno is under fire for not alerting authorities when he learned of it way back in 2002. He is apparently off the hook legally, as he did in fact tell his superiors (who also did not call the authorities). Morally though, we say he should never be off the hook.
Just think if any child could have been saved in those years that nothing was said?
We say step down and that you're lucky there isn't any kind of legal charge coming your way.
