Ashton Kutcher Quits Tweeting After Joe Paterno Comments

Ashton Kutcher has announced to his 8 million+ followers that he is done tweeting (for now)!
The Two and a Half Men star let loose a tweet that got immediate backlash when he shared:
“How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste.”
The tweet, which got deleted shortly after, was referring to the Penn State coach that was fired on Wednesday by the University after he was implicated in a very disgusting sex scandal.
Apparently, Ashton didn't have all the details and was unaware that Joe Paterno knew his assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky, had molested young boys, but did nothing about it.
Once he was filled in on WHY the veteran coach wasn't allowed to retire at the end of the season as planned, he tweeted:
“Heard Joe was fired, fully recant previous tweet!”
"Didn’t have full story. #admitwhenYoumakemistakes.”
It was an honest mistake, considering it doesn't sound like Ashton had the full story, but his followers let him have it. An embarrassed Kutcher, who founded an organization with his wife to end child sex slavery, then vowed to stop tweeting until he can "properly manage his feed", explaining:
"As of immediately I will stop tweeting until I find a way to properly manage this feed. I feel awful about this error. Won't happen again."
Now all that remains of his comments on the unfortunate PSU scandal reads:
"As an advocate in the fight against child sexual exploitation, I could not be more remorseful for all involved in the Penn St. case."
We don't think it will be too long before Ashton gets back to the Twitterverse because fans are already offering their support since his apology, tweeting things like:
"Do not be so hard on you, we all make mistakes, and if anyone should feel bad is Joe Paterno, not you. nite nite!"
Although we understand the massive amount of pressure to maintain a positive image (especially after his San Diego cheating debacle), he's got to move on. It was nothing more than a case of speaking too soon with too little information!
Avoid pulling a Kelso next time and head on over to FitPerez.com when a college sports' scandal breaks to get all the details! LOLz!
