In an effort "to curb our destructive ways and provide a viable alternative to just ignorant consumption", Adrian Grenier has created a sustainable red wine.
The Entourage star tweeted a pic of his upcoming Stomping Ground House Red, which is being sold through his eco-website, SHFT.com.
He described the wine as a "social lubricant" people could drink while discussing environmental issues, explaining:
”We decided that we were going to create a sustainable wine because we are all about connecting and lifestyle and what better way to connect and communicate ideas about sustainability than around a nice dinner with a great bottle of wine. It’s a social lubricant.”
So what makes sustainable wine so sustainable?
According to Grenier, the wine is produced at organic, biodynamic and sustainable vineyards, then bottled in recycled material topped off with an environmentally-friendly label!
Just in time for the holidays, Stomping Ground will be released in December, but available for pre-order next week on shft.com.
