Family Suing Florida A&M After Marching Band Hazing Leads To Son's Death

| Filed under: Legal MattersR.I.P.Sad SadFootball

Ugh! This so awful and we hope they get whatever justice they can out of this.

The family of Robert Champion, a former drum major in the Florida A&M marching band, is suing the school for allowing a ritual hazing incident that lead to their son's death.

Sources say Robert was "likely forced to walk through a gauntlet of fists" after a football game this fall before collapsing and dying on the field.

The band director has already faced the music and was fired as a result of condoning the brutal hazing, but the Champion's also expect the school to pay for the actions of its marching band.

Check out the video above for all the sad, sad details that have left a void in the Champion's heart.
