Kate Gosselin Runs A Marathon In Vegas

Kate Gosselin, famous for having 8 babies and kind of taking care of them on television, finished her first ever marathon in Vegas in 4 hours, 59 minutes and 21 seconds.

Here's what she said about it:

"I'm not one to do anything lightly. I either do it or I kill it. I guess this is considered killing it."

Yeah, except the winner did it in 2 hrs 29 min. — so we'd just be proud of doing it!

Okay, so why now? Why did she decide to run it?

Her kids, of course!

"I'm running this because I want to show that with dedication and determination anything is possible. I want them to remember this moment when their mom completed a marathon, knowing that nothing in life should stop them from attaining their goals. This will probably be one of the most painful messages I will ever impart to them."

That's a very good reasons, we have to say. Plus we're sure that raising 8 kids is nuts, and the time to train and run it was a nice little break here and there to get some me-time, right??
