Solange Knowles Wants YOU To Help Cure Blood Cancer

Singer Solange Knowles is calling on all the help she can get to make a difference in the lives of kids who are losing their battle with blood cancer.

In partnership with DKMS, the world's largest bone marrow donor center, Beyoncé's sister has released a PSA asking everyone to register with the organization to become a possible donor.

While thousands of patients search the national registry every day in hopes of discovering the answer to their prayers, the odds of finding a matching donor are nearly impossible.

Solange, along with the 6 out of 10 patients who won't be able to secure a life-saving transplant, want U to take the time to register with DKMS at www.GetSwabbed.org.

As a mother herself she understands how heartbreaking it must be for others to watch their child suffer and not be able to help since less than 30% of patients find a match in their own family.

There is help out there, but it's up to you to get involved in a cause that might very well save a life one day, as Solange explained:

“A lot of people don't understand that it's literally a cotton swab that determines if you’re a match. This can actually save someone's life!”
