Get ready, Dallas! The Kardashians are coming!
Well, at least one of them is.
Lamar Odom has officially been traded to the Dallas Mavericks.
After the New Orleans deal fell through last week, no one was sure where Lamar stood in the NBA.
In fact, Lamar was said to be so hurt by the original deal that would have given the Lakers Chris Paul, he asked to be traded.
When asked about the original trade on Thursday, Lamar said:
"You don't want to go to no place you're not wanted."
And his teammates aren't too happy about the trade either - especially since Mavericks are one of the Lakers' biggest rivals. Lakers' Kobe Bryant said at training day:
"To be honest with you, I don’t like it. It’s tough to lose Lamar. It’s hard when you’ve been through so many battles with players to just see them go somewhere else. It’s tough."
Although it doesn't seem she's as excited about Dallas as she was about New Orleans. She replied to a fan on Twitter:
"we are all sad but positive energy gets you farther then negative."
We know it sucks, though, but you better get them cowboy boots out, gurl!
In all honesty though, we are really bummed about the trade. Lamar gave 7 good years to the Lakers and it was pretty rotten how NBA's David Stern handled the whole sitch.
But then again, it's all part of the game….
