FitPerez reader Georgie is looking for boxing nutrition tips and wrote expert Alex Brenes for advice, asking:

What is a good supplement? I would like something before my workout. Thanks!

According to Alex, you may not even need any supplements, as he explains:

Georgie, that's not exactly my field. Most fighters stay away from those things. Supplements and such should be taken about an hour-and-a-half before a workout. Something rich in carbohydrates and calories will make you feel ready. Remember, natural is always better!!!
