Anyone considering using cosmetic surgery to enhance their looks may want to listen to what Jennifer Aniston has to say on the subject matter.
Speaking from experience, the gorgeous A-lister told InStyle magazine that even minor cosmetic procedures like Botox can be "a slippery slope", explaining:
“People think that I do a lot of injections, but I don’t. I’m not saying that I haven’t tried it…but I see how it’s a slippery slope. All that cosmetic stuff looks ridiculous on me.”
We won't judge anyone who decides to go under the knife, but we've definitely seen some people go overboard and, in some case, become addicted to plastic surgery!
Even Jen's bestie Courteney Cox, who openly admits to using cosmetic injections like Botox, has had a bad experience, explaining:
“One time I did too much, though. I feel weird if I can't move my face, and that one time I overdid it, I felt trapped in my own skin. I don't have a problem with any of that stuff; if it makes you feel better about yourself and it's done properly, then fine."
We don't think Jen needs any of that stuff though because, as public opinion has proven, she is one of the hottest people on earth!
Anyone lacking body confidence, however, should be happy to learn that Jen wasn't always so comfortable with her appearance either, as the actress continued:
“I was a dumpy teenager. My mom was a model and was all about looks, so I rebelled by going goth. It took me years of peeling back the onion to finally stop using makeup as a mask and feel comfortable in my skin.”
It's consoling to know that even the gal who played Rachel in Friends was a little insecure with herself at one point. Obviously, she got over it and so can anyone else!
