Frozen Instead Of Fresh Berries:
Frozen berries have just as much flavor and health benefits as their fresh counterparts! Plus you don't have to worry about them going bad in a few days!
Quick Oats Instead Of Instant Oatmeal:
Pretty much just as quick, plus they don't have all the added sugar as instant oatmeal! Just add berries or brown sugar as you see fit!
Kale Chips Instead Of Veggie Chips:
Make them home made! They're healthy, salty, and crunchy — without much wallet punching!
Canned Salmon Instead Of Fresh Salmon:
Much less expensive, and you still get those Omega-3's!! Just gotta get over the idea that it's canned fish.
Tofu Instead Of Whey Protein Powder:
That's right, just add it into your smoothies instead of whey protein! It blends just in, and it contains a ton of protein and health benefits! Just gotta get past the idea of tofu.
Nuts And Fruit Instead Of Larabars:
Eat dried fruit and nuts and save the Larabars as a special treat!
Also, you can plan ahead before you go so you aren't just buying everything you see! Try poking around your fridge and seeing what you can salvage, and don't be afraid of bruised produce!
