Despite Guiliana Rancic's awesome outlook, attitude, and positivity throughout her breast cancer ordeal, the procedures she had to go through were not in the least bit easy or a breeze.
In fact, they were sheer hell.
Here's what she had to say in an interview with Matt Lauer:
'It was definitely hard. I knew this was going to be a tough surgery. I in no way want to minimize it. Yes, I'm two and a half weeks out, (but) my gosh … Up until a week and a half ago, it was hell. It was horrible.'
We can definitely understand that. What you went through was not only terrifying, but physically painful. It takes a tough person to get through that, which you are!
Plus you had Bill, who seems like one of the best dudes out there:
'Well the doctor gave me strict orders and said, "By 3 o'clock you have to have her walking around or at least up by the bed." And we just did it slowly… she was not happy with me, but we did it. As soon as she got up and started taking her first couple of steps, she was walking around the hallways of the hospital.'
We are so glad he was there for you through all of this!
And we're so glad that you're back to work and feeling so good! Hopefully others can be inspired by this, and find it in themselves to get checked and proper treatment!
