If you bought anything outside of the Rangers-Flyers Winter Classic, chances are high that you got ripped off.
Feds seized over $350,000 worth of FAKE sports gear on the streets of Philly Tuesday Jan. 4th. The authorities snatched up nearly 1,700 products.
Most of the gear claimed to be official Winter Classic jerseys from the two teams.
The authorities obtained international parcels shipped from China to Philly and found out the goods were bogus.
Feds also targeted street vendors and found nine of them had fake products. No arrests have been made.
John P. Kelleghan, special agent in charge of ICE HSI, warned that fans should be cautious about purchasing sports gear outside of the domain of the actual sports team.
Look like if you want your favorite player's jersey, you'll have to cough up some extra coin.
