From starring in 21 Jump Street to a lecture from Brad Pitt while shooting Moneyball, we've heard all sorts of rumors behind the reasons why Jonah Hill lost weight. However, in a recent interview the Oscar-nominated actor gave the real skinny.
Much like his artistic endeavors are evolving and he wants to start acting in more adult roles, Jonah decided his body needed to look more adult too! While discussing his career with ABC News, he said:
"I just had a moment in my life where I said I wanted to become a man. And that means with my career that with my life, that means with my health."
To achieve the body he felt a man of his age and character should have, Jonah told sources the first step was to see a nutritionist and start eating right, explaining:
"It was just mostly diet. I wish there was some crazy thing that I did, like a pill or a genie or something. But it was, unfortunately, I went to see a nutritionist, and he told me what to eat to change my habits and stuff. I found that Japanese food was very helpful to me."
Although we loved all your work in comedy, we're glad you're growing up and realized there is nothing funny about living an unhealthy lifestyle. Good luck at the Oscars this year!
