Death Chant Singing Lighter Helps Ward Off Smokers

This will definitely scare you into not smoking for awhile!

In India, vendors sell loose cigarettes so electric lighters are installed to light cigarettes on the go.

One vendor got creative with its electric lighter and tried to scare some sense into smokers!

The new lighter chants, "Raam Naam Satya Hai," an Indian death chant used when someone dies.

Needless to say, many smokers were a bit wary to light up when they heard the chant!

The Cancer Patients Aid Association set up the experiment which caused some smokers to throw away their cigarettes in shock. Unfortunately, most Western countries require cigarettes to be packaged but verbal warnings tend to have more effect than written ones.

Check out the video above to see this clever way to help smokers quit lighting up.
