Kate Upton Dishes On Diet And Fitness Habits To Prepare For Sports Illustrated Cover

We imagine there is a lot of pressure to look perfect once you've been selected to appear on the cover of the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, but 2012 cover model Kate Upton didn't let it get to her.

The hot blond revealed at the launch of the issue on Tuesday that she "just cut out some more of the splurges." She didn't do anything "drastic" beyond a healthy diet and fitness routine because "they want you to be curvy and sexy."

Some of those splurges could include "a cupcake," but she ultimately said, "It doesn't matter!"

She makes sure to eat healthy snacks and meals like "oatmeal, salad, protein," but avoids red meat, saying:

"I try to stay away from red meat, not for any specific reason, it's just I really don't like it."

As for her exercise regimen, Upton told sources that she completes "a full body workout" every day with a personal trainer for "at least an hour."
