Victoria Beckham Responds To People Criticizing Her 'Miserable' Appearance

Victoria Beckham is tired

Victoria Beckham has A LOT on her plate. As a mother of FOUR kids (including seven-month-old daughter Harper), the wife of hottest man on the planet, AND a fashion designer, it's an understatement to just say she's busy.

Unfortunately, recently Victoria has had something else to deal with — nasty gossip! Due to her appearance in photographs, people have been calling her too skinny, gaunt, malnourished and even miserable!

Geez! Cut the lady a break, she's juggling multiple jobs in multiple cities, while taking care of multiple kids!

Well, she's got words for all of her naysayers out there and told sources in an interview:

“Look, if people want to say I’m miserable then so be it. I’m really not. I have a lot on my plate. I’m not going to lie about it, I’m tired. I’m really tired but I’m also very happy with my life. I’m basically just like any woman who’s working and has lots of children – it’s tough.”

And one of those kids is a baby and if there is one thing all babies have in common, it's their uncanny ability to disrupt their parents sleep, as Victoria continued:

“I’m not getting much sleep at all. Harper’s not sleeping that great, and I’ve been taking Skype business calls throughout the night too because of the collections. I’m up with the baby as all mums are and I wouldn’t have it any other way. There’s not a team of people doing it for me. And then people want to say I look crap. Well, I’m a working mum, so give me a break."

She may be one of the most recognizable celebrities in the world, but the tired mother added, "You can't look your best all the time."

So true! But let's be honest. Mrs. Beckham always looks pretty good if you ask us. Maybe she's not as friendly to the cameras as other celebs, but regardless of whether or not she's wearing a smile to match her posh dresses, she's still lovely.

The former Spice Girl also revealed that she quickly lost any baby weight after giving birth, but doesn't have much time for working out thanks to all of her responsibilities, explaining:

"After Harper arrived I did work out to get my body back but ­quickly stopped. I guess once Harper finally starts ­sleeping all the way through the night then I will start working out again."

It sounds like she'll start sooner than later too because she shared, "I’m actually craving being on a treadmill and maybe doing a bit of yoga.”

Yoga would definitely help the busy working mom relax and relieve some stress, that's for sure!
