Apparently thousands of Weird Al fans have started an online movement to get the satirical singer on the Super Bowl halftime show stage in 2013.

When sources caught up with Al to ask about the demand, he seemed a little skeptical the NFL would actually consider him as a performer, saying:

"I'd be surprised if that's being seriously considered by the NFL, but prove me wrong!"

Yes! Prove him wrong! We'd actually love to see Weird Al parody a song WITH the original artist singing along.

Who wants to see Lady GaGa and Weird Al to sing Polka Face or Perform This Way together!? How about Party In The CIA with Miley Cyrus? LOL!

The possibilities are endless and he's totally down to accept the NFL's cordial invitation. When asked point blank if he'd perform, Al said, "Sure, if they asked."
