The Rainforest Fund announced its April 3rd 2012 benefit concert and it will be at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage.
The event, sponsored by Revlon, will feature some HUGE acts including: Sting, Elton John, James Taylor, Meryl Streep, Katharine McPhee, Bryn Terfel, Rosanne Cash, and Vince Gill, along with other surprise guests!
That sounds like one heck of a show!!
U can get your tickets HERE!
The Rainforest Fund was founded by Sting and Trudie Styler back in 1989 in response to a "request for help from a Kayapo Indian leader in Brazil who was seeking to protect his people’s land and culture."
For the past 23 years, the Rainforest Fund has protected over 115,000 square kilometers.
Trudie Styler said:
"Sting and I founded the Rainforest Fund after seeing with our own eyes the destruction of one of the world’s most precious resources.
We’re so thankful for artists like Elton John, James Taylor, and the many others who are doing their part to support the Rainforest Fund in its quest to raise awareness of the global environmental crisis we’re facing.
If we all take action, we can help save the planet and prevent further harm to the rainforests and the indigenous people who live there."
So get a ticket, see an amazing show, get some great food at a gala afterwards and save the rainforest.
What else could you ask for??
