How to get Oscar-worthy arms with this 3-in-1 move!
While the Oscars are known for their fabulous red carpet fashion, one thing that deserves some special attention is the sculpted arms and shoulders of many of the A-listers gracing the award ceremony over the weekend. Cameron Diaz was rocking a gorgeously toned upper body in her strapless gown, while Stacey Keibler looked stunning in head to toe gold, complete with sculpted shoulders and biceps.
Whether you have a special event to attend this week or simply want to tighten your upper body, try my 3-in-1 move for stunning Oscar-worthy arms.
- Grab a barbell or set of hand weights (light to medium weight) and begin by standing up tall with your arms down by your side. Keeping your back straight, curl the bar or weights up to perform a bicep curl, elbows tucked into your sides.
- After completion of the single curl, with your arms down in front of you now, perform an upright row, keeping your elbows out to the sides. Lift the bar up to chest height and lower.
- With the bar back at the starting position, lift it again as if you were performing another upright row, but instead of stopping at your chest, flip the bar back (so it should be resting on the palms of your hands) and push the bar or weights straight up over your head to perform a shoulder press.
- Lower the weight back to chest height and rotate your wrists, so that you can easily lower the bar back down to the starting position.
Completion of the 3 moves equals 1 rep, so continue for 3 sets of 10-12 reps.
Perform this move on its own or at the end of normal workout to really blast your shoulders and arms!
You're right about those celeb arms — we gotta try this out!!
And so do you!
