Mmmmm! Salad!
Too bad they aren't always good for you. It sucks that that's true.
So what can we do to make them better?
Here are 6 ingredients you should forgettabout when making a salad:
CROUTONS
Sorry guys. The best part of the salad is also terrible. No nutritional value, just calories for crunch. Try flax seeds.
CHEESE
We're just two things in and it seems like this is going to be the worst salad ever. Be patient! Use sparingly.
PITA
We're not sure how often pita is actually used with salads, but hey, that's a no brainer. Don't do it.
HEAVY DRESSING
Can't have a salad without dressing, so go lite, or go easy. Go both, probably!
PROCESSED MEATS
Adding processed & fried meats like bacon bits, ham and fried chicken is not a good idea. They're high in fat. Duh!
TORTILLA BOWL
Eating your bowl is a novelty that'll make you fat!
So… basically take everything you love about salads and don't do that. Got it?
Good!
But think of how happy you'll be when you're fit and healthy!
