Aerobics May Ease Menopause Symptoms!

If you're experiencing menopause, you might not be enjoying everything that comes with it.

You might be in luck, however, especially if you're a Finnish woman!

A small study just completed has results which say that a healthy dose of aerobic exercise might ease the symptoms!

It may even be an alternative to hormone replacement therapy! Here's what a doctor from the Finnish study said:

"I would definitely recommend physical activity. I think that among all the options out there that it's probably the best thing for health and also symptoms of aging."

Here's another look at it:

"The effects of exercise on mood are very robust and almost immediate and that would probably be the most likely explanation that might underpin the improved self-report of symptoms. That being said, I don't want to discount the possibility that exercise has a physiological impact."

So in other words, exercise makes you happier, and the mood may be affecting the symptoms. There could be a physiological explanation as well, but a bigger and more intense study would be needed to know exactly what's happening.

Working out 4 times a week led to a 10% drop in both night sweats AND mood swings!

Sounds like it's worth a try — you can only get healthier!
