So exciting, and so cool!
This will be the launch of the first commercially built space capsule to the International Space Station!
It will happen at the end of April, and will be totally rad. And you'll be super jealous you aren't on it.
SpaceX is going to launch the Dragon spacecraft on a demonstration flight to the orbiting outpost at 12:22 p.m. EDT on April 30th. They totally couldn't have give the craft a cooler name, too. Dang!
This means that we're like, a few years off from Star Wars basically. Right?
Well at least it's a huge step for commercial space travel. And we're ready to start booking flights!
Oh, and SpaceX will receive up to $396 million for successfully completing the milestones outlined in their Space Act Agreement — so it's totes worth it.
Where you at, Lance Bass??
