The D.A. even charged Ray J with sexual battery, despite the fact that police have said no crime of the sort was actually committed.

According to new legal documents, Scottie Pippen can't sue CBS because he admitted he was broke.
Makes sense to us!
Last year, Scottie decided to sue CBS, NBC, and Arizona State University among others because they published stories about his money probs. Mostly that he was bankrupt. He said it was unfair and untrue.
He wanted $1 million from each of them, at least. Probably because he's broke.
Now, CBS and NBC have filed new documents asking the judge to throw out the case!
They're claiming it was okay to go ahead with the stories because for years Pippen:
"was the focus of a steady drum beat of press coverage recounting his ongoing and, by his own account, increasingly dire financial circumstances."
All that's left is to have a judge decide whether or not Pippen has a case at all.
Honestly doesn't sound like he does — but crazier things have happened!
