What an incredible picture!
Check it out — this is Olivia Wilde visiting Haiti for her documentary called Baseball in the Time of Cholera!
She executive produced it, like last year's short doc called Sun City Picture House, and is taking it to TriBeca Film Festival!
Olivia has been a long time supporter of Artists For Peace and Justice, which is an organization that liaises with local Haitian institutions to provide the impoverished locals with clean water, free health care, and free education.
Apparently Olivia visits Haiti any chance she gets, she has become close with the families and children of Port Au Prince!
Here's what the doc is about:
As the cholera epidemic rages in Haiti, the United Nations denies responsibility for introducing the disease despite mounting evidence. This is the story of Joseph, a young baseball player, and a Haitian lawyer fighting for compensation for the victims. As the epidemic spreads, the two stories intersect in the struggle for survival and justice.
Great work, Olivia!
