Those Unconstitutional Cigarette Labels Are Now Constitutional!

Tobacco labels

Okay, a few weeks ago we said that the cigarette labels with new gross images on it was ruled unconstitutional because it was the government telling big tobacco to basically scare their customers.

Now, that's not the case!

A federal appeals court ruled on Monday that the US law requiring large graphic health warnings on cigarette packaging and advertising does NOT violate the free speech rights of tobacco companies!

This is likely to head to the Supreme Court, which is obvious — to completely different rulings on the same subject and big tobacco being evil enough to never back down will take it all the way.

Here's what was said by the appeals Judge:

"There can be no doubt that the government has a significant interest in preventing juvenile smoking and in warning the general public about the harms associated with the use of tobacco products."

Which is a fab interest to have.

Seriously, though. There can't be a much more evil job than being with or representing a tobacco company.

Bein' in the business of killin' people and getting rich off of it is shameful!

Bravo, appeals court!

Do U think this is right or wrong???
