More evidence is mounting for the link between secondhand smoke and breathing problems, especially in kids who live with a smoker.
If you can't quit smoking for yourself, do it for your kids. This is ridiculous.
The biggest effect on wheeze and asthma symptoms was… where? Any takers?
No? It's easy!
This makes their little lungs weaker, and less responsive to asthma medications down the road!
This should be a PRIORITY to stop.
What was done was researchers took a look at a wide range of studies from 1997 to 2011, and fount that when moms smoked while they were pregnant, their kids were 28 to 52 percent more likely to wheezeand the asthma symptoms was greatest in babies and toddlers, who were 85 percent more likely to have asthma if they were exposed to smoke in the womb.
Why isn't more being done about this?
How is it not ILLEGAL to subject children to this kind of thing??
Those poor kids! Love them all you want, you're STILL hurting them!
