Unfortunately, 2012 has been a rough year for Nick Cannon thanks to a string of health issues that have forced him to dial down his lifestyle. The multi-hyphenate entertainer resigned from his radio show in February to get more R&R, but the workaholic has supplemented his hosting duties with another project — a web series!
This one, however, is a little easier on the guy because it's a weekly documentary that follows his road to recovery. NCredible Health Hustle will premiere on NickCannon.com on April 2 at 4pm EST!
Nick started capturing footage when his kidney problems first forced him into the hospital and he kept the cameras rolling while he grappled with the difficult decision to step down from his daily morning radio show, Rollin' with Nick Cannon.
Viewers can also look forward to watching him work with world renowned medical, health, diet and fitness experts, traveling throughout the country to host America’s Got Talent, and running his successful multi-media empire NCredible Entertainment — all while making time for his family! Here is what Nick had to say about his newest venture revolving around his health issues:
“I never thought anything could slow me down, but sometimes life throws you curve balls and you have to adjust. I credit my success today with my ability to maintain a busy, multi-tasking schedule for so many years but I also credit the lack of rest that I allowed my body to have in order to keep up - along with unhealthy eating habits to my kidney problems. Having discovered the problem early on, I was able to undergo immediate and aggressive medical treatment and through the support of my loving family I’m now on a successful road to recovery.”
Check out the trailer above and tune in to watch the first episode on April 2nd!
