Tommy Lee Jones May Direct AMC's Football Drama Pilot

AMC is in the very early stages of developing a new football drama called The Real All Americans.
It's based on a book about the Carlisle Indian Industrial School in Carlisle, PA and their amazing Native American college football program.
The football program at the school had an amazing record of 167-88-13 and spawned Olympian Jim Thorpe and famed coach Glenn "Pop" Warner.
Right now, Tommy Lee Jones is in discussions to direct the pilot.
This is a subject close to his heart as he played for Harvard's football team in the late 60s and is actually of Cherokee descent.
Sounds like a great idea!
We can't wait to see it right between Mad Men and The Walking Dead.
