There has been a lot of uproar over Mary J. Blige's Burger King commercial.
Really? They didn't realize there were licensing issues until after the backlash started?
Now Mary J. has hopped on the damage control bandwagon.
"I agreed to be part of a fun and creative campaign that was supposed to feature a dream sequence.
Unfortunately, that's not what was happening in that clap. I understand my fans being upset by what they saw. But if you're a Mary fan, you have to know I would never allow an unfinished spot like the one you saw go out."

Though she is doing the smart thing and trying to distance herself from all this craziness.
Give her a break everyone, she wasn't doing it to make an artistic statement, it was just for money and it backfired.
We think BK should just burn the ad and move on.
