The judge in the Jerry Sandusky child sex-abuse trial has refused to drop the charges against him.
We're glad some things are at least happening now ever since a three week delay was announced.
Judge John Cleland ruled against the defense as they tried several legal maneuvers to block evidence, force the prosecution to disclose more of what they're doing, and to try and introduce an alibi defense.
Sandusky clearly faces an uphill battle with over 50 criminal counts that say he allegedly abused 10 different boys over the course of 15 years.
It's hard to find out TOO many details about the case because of a gag order imposed on both sides.
As a result of this whole mess, Penn State is starting a professional training program for their employees to be able to better recognize and report child abuse.
At least something good may come out of this.
We just hope it's over quickly so this man is brought to justice.
