As we previously mentioned, Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees had slipped into a coma.
He's been battling both colon and liver cancer since 2010 and recently came down with pneumonia.
We're hoping the coma is his body's way of conserving energy and focusing on fighting the diseases.
But should the worst happen, at least he is surrounded by family and friends.
His brother, Barry, also of the Bee Gees, recently was singing to Robin to "try to bring him back."
That is the sweetest, saddest thing we've ever heard.
Excuse us a minute. Gotta grab a tissue.
Robin's wife Dwina said:
"His brother Barry, his wife Linda and son Stephen came over from America. Barry was singing to him. Thousands of people are saying prayers every day."
There are unconfirmed reports that Robin actually showed signs of awareness and may have even responded to Barry's voice!
Oh please let that be true. Music is more powerful than most people know.
Just ask the man who was brought back from Alzheimer's by music!
Get better Robin, you're in our hearts and thoughts.
