Whether it's the standard 5 flavor roll, the coveted all cherry roll, the gummy, sour or Wint-O-Green versions, almost everyone has eaten a Life Savers.
The brand started in 1912 when Clarence Crane, a chocolate maker, invent "Pep O Mint" flavor for a heat-proof sweet, unlike his chocolate.
Life Savers really hit their stride during WWII when 23 million boxes of them were packed into soldiers' field ration kits.
Now they are celebrating their centennial by releasing specially marked packages. Each package contains a code that can be entered into their website HERE.
For every code, they donate $1 to a charity of your choice.
What a great way to celebrate their 100th birthday!
