This is absolutely disgusting.
A stick of butter is basically a log of fat — and these seven foods have more fat than a stick of butter!
Fried Fish - Eating fish is good for you! Unless you dip it in batter and deep fry it! It was found out that Applebee's New England Fish & Chips has a gut-busting 138 grams of fat! That's one and half sticks of butter.
Certain Salads - Many salads can be very healthy and contain no fat at all. But some are deceptively fatty, like the ones with chicken, bacon, croutons and full flavor dressing.
Towering Meat Burgers - Most people know burgers tend to be pretty fatty, but it's still surprising to find out exactly how much fat is really in those half-pound super burgers. It's just as much as a stick of butter!
Crazy Topping Burgers - Pizza burgers, quesadilla burgers and the death sentence… the Luther burger are all crazy fatty! (The Luther burger, named for its creator and biggest fan, Luther Vandross, is a burger with a Krispy Kreme donut as the bun.) Clearly, these monsters of food science are as fat filled as they are delicious.
Milkshakes - Shakes and smoothies can be very healthy but they are also a great way to sneak tons of sugar and fat into you. Cold Stone Creamery's PB&C Shake weighs in at a whopping 131 grams of fat! That's insane.
Fried Chicken - It may be delicious but it's also the easiest way to up your fat content. A full days worth of fat is just in a few pieces of fried chicken.
Quesadillas - The quesadillas serves one purpose. To get as much cheese into you as quickly as possible. With cheese basically being just fat, you can see how a whole quesadillas could easily add up to a full stick of butter worth of fat.
What's sad is, after reading that list, all we feel is hungry for all those foods.
So next time you're considering grilling up some Luther burgers, picture yourself eating an entire stick of butter and see if you've still got an appetite.
