If you want the important facts and the important stories, go no further than Katie Couric — because she'll bring them right to you!
Katie Couric and Laurie David are teaming up again (first on Davis Guggenheim's 2006 documentary An Inconvenient Truth), and this time they're focusing on childhood obesity!
It's called The Big Picture, and it's going to highlight the causes and consequences of obesity in children. It'll even include health care cost projections.
They've actually been following 10 kids ages 11 through 17 (nothing creepy, we promise) who have been contributing personal video diaries about their struggles with weight, peer pressure and food choices!
Couric is expected to narrate, but not have an actual role.
We're not expecting this film to be finished for another year yet!
