This summer, people will be able to participate in a bike race on the Santa Monica Pier!
Sounds dangerous and cramped?
No worries, it's a stationary cycling race, or a "spin-a-thon!"
The event, called Pedal on the Pier, is Sunday, June 3rd and was created to raise funds for the Harold Robinson Foundation, which sends 20 different inner-city schools to camps.
Teams or individuals pledge to raise a minimum $2,500 per bike for five hours until they reach the goal milage.
There will be energetic instructors and live music to motivate people, guest celebs, and on site vendors with food and drinks.
Sounds like a fun and healthy way to raise money for a great cause!
