Considering he's only 19-years-old and is already one of baseball's biggest rising stars, Bryce Harper definitely has skillz. Apparently, the Washington Nationals outfielder has a lot of anger issues too!
Harper is sporting a baseball-sized black eye after swinging a bat against the dugout wall in anger only to have it swing right back and nail him in the face!
What made him so angry? He got out after hitting a disappointing grounder on Friday night while playing against the Cincinnati Reds.
Like a pro, Harper continued to play with some blood oozing down the side of his face and the Nationals went on to win 7-3. We understand he wants to score, but he's not doing himself or his team any favors by putting his face in unnecessary danger!
Hopefully he learned his lesson, but we can't be so sure. After the game he told reporters, "I guess I won’t do it anymore, but I don’t know."
Want our advice? Don't do it anymore.
